The entrance is situated under the scar in the
stream bed 1.5m upstream of SLIT SINK, and covered by a slab of rock. A tight awkward slot,
which is best entered feet first is followed by a low passage to a
2.4m climb down into a small chamber. Beyond the passage narrows to
an awkward squeeze at the head of a 4.5m pitch which drops into a
large canyon passage. Walking size passage soon narrows to a tight
trench which ends at a junction with the main passage in THE
BOREHOLE just upstream of the 15m
pitch.
